Le nombre de convertis à l'islam en Allemagne été multiplié par 13 en une année :
« Le nombre d'Allemands convertis à l'islam est en forte augmentation, selon le "Spiegel". Entre juillet 2004 et juin 2005, près de 4.000 citoyens ont rejoint la communauté musulmane, soit quatre fois plus que l'année précédente. » (Cathobel).
Les chiffres 4000 convertis en un an fournis par le magazine allemand édité à Hambourg sont tirés d'une étude sur l'islam en Allemagne, qui n'a pas encore été diffusée. Financée par le ministère de l'intérieur, elle a été réalisée à partir des archives de la communauté musulmane de Soest...
Autrefois près de 300 Allemands rejoignaient chaque année les rangs de la communauté islamique le nombre de conversions a donc été multiplié par 13.
Beaucoup de ces nouveaux musulmans étaient des chrétiens qui ont fini par douter de leur religion, affirme l'imam Mohammed Herzog, de Berlin, cité par Der Spiegel.
Selon la sociologue des religions, Monika Wohlrab-Sahr, de nombreux convertis sont des gens en recherche attirés par ce qui est différent. En outre, les débats actuels sur l'islam ont conféré une certaine place à cette religion dans la société allemande.

The Islamic Educational Center of North Hudson (IECNH) hosted nationally syndicated Hispanic television station Univision [channel 41 in the NYC metro area] on Thursday February 23rd at its center in Union City, NJ.

They were talking about many Latinos are leaving the catholic religion and are turning to Islam. They talked about the reasons why they turned to Islam such as corruption in Church or unanswerd questions..but they found true answers in islam.
Priest also talked about the building bridge between them which he support and he also said they have respected who convert from catholic to islamic faith ..

Dans cette vidéo sous titrée en français, cheikh yussuf estes nous raconte comment, en 1991 au texas , lui et son père ( deux prédicateurs protestants) sa femme ( une chrétienne évangéliste) ses deux filles , et un prêtre catholiques se sont convertis vers l'islam aprés avoir été réunis pendant plus de 3 mois avec un musulman d'egypte nommé Mohammed .
Ceci est la première partie : cheikh yussuf se présente mettant l'accent sur sa vie avant 1991, et comment se fit la rencontre avec Mohammed d'egypte.

Yusuf Estes est aujourd'hui l'aumônier National Musulman pour les Américains Musulmans, il voyage à travers le monde entier faisant des conférences et en partageant le message du Christ dans le Saint Quran .
Il suggère à ceux qui cherchent la vérité de suivre les neufs étapes de la purification de l'esprit:
1.) Libérer leur esprit, leur coeur et leur âme de bonne façon.
2.) Se Libérer de tous les préjugés et jugement de valeurs.
3.) Lire une bonne traduction du sens du Saint Quran dans une langue qu'ils peuvent comprendre.
4.) Prendre un peu le temps
5.) Lire et réfléchir.
6.) Penser et prier.
7.) Demander à Celui qui vous a créé en premier lieu, de vous diriger vers la vérité.
8.) Garder cette attitude pendant quelques mois. Rester régulier dans cette pratique.
9.) Et surtout, ne pas laisser d'autres personnes qui sont empoisonnées dans leur pensée vous influencer pendant que vous êtes dans l'état de "renaissance de l'âme."
